Regional business group, the Gatwick Diamond Initiative (GDI) has launched its new inward investment platform, with strategic partner Gatwick Airport. The ‘Invest in the Gatwick Diamond’ website was officially launched at the inaugural Gatwick Airport Economic Summit on November 3rd, a high-level event bringing together stakeholders from across the region to discuss long-term, sustainable economic growth and future inward investment for the south east.
The new website reinvigorates the Gatwick Diamond’s online presence and reflects the changes to the inward investment and business world post-Brexit and the Covid pandemic. Digitally welcoming visitors and existing businesses to the region, the website provides an overview of the all the area has to offer and signposts to specific partners and organisations for further information. Highlights include a virtual map showcasing the latest investment opportunities for businesses looking to establish a presence or expand.
The Gatwick Diamond region, which stretches from Croydon in the north to Brighton & Hove in the south, has a wealth of opportunities to offer international and UK-based businesses of all sizes. Home to one of the most economically successful parts of the country, the area offers access to a talented, highly-skilled workforce, strong regional and international transport links and outstanding quality-of-life.
