University of Brighton, as part of a consortium, secures research funding for postgraduate research studentships from the Economic and Social Research Council.
The funding will support a minimum of 37 new postgraduate research studentships each year over the next three years and aims to develop the next generation of national and international research leaders in social science in academia, government, business and civil society.

Like previous Doctoral Training Partnerships, it will include funding and opportunities for advanced research methods training for all its research students.
