The Gatwick Diamond Initiative (GDI) has been announced as a headline sponsor for the 2024 Gatwick Diamond Business Awards. The public-private partnership is also sponsoring the International Business of the Year category.
Working under the Invest Gatwick Diamond brand, the initiative is focused on promoting economic growth in the Gatwick Diamond region, spanning from Croydon to Brighton & Hove, with a focus on sectors such as aviation, tourism, technology, and advanced manufacturing.
The Gatwick Diamond Business Awards, established in 2009, recognise the achievements of companies across a variety of industries and are scheduled to take place on 20th March 2025 at The Grand Hotel in Brighton.

The International Business of the Year category, which Invest Gatwick Diamond is sponsoring, celebrates companies that have successfully grown through international operations.
Judges will be looking for businesses that have demonstrated strategic global expansion, improved profitability, and innovation in international trade. Past winners have included firms from a wide range of industries, reflecting the region’s diverse economy.

The Gatwick Diamond Business Awards offer companies the opportunity to be recognised for their contributions to the local economy, with categories ranging from Employee of the Year to Environmental Culture Award. The event will also serve as a key networking platform for the region’s business community.
