Low carbon heat network coming to Manor Royal

The Manor Royal BID, working with heat networks investor, Hemiko, has announced the Manor Royal Heat Network.   Heat networks, also known as district heating, connect buildings with waste heat suppliers via a network of underground pipes and offer an alternative to gas boilers by providing low carbon space heating and hot water.

By 2050, a fifth of UK heat will need to be supplied through heat networks. For towns like Crawley, district heating will be the cheapest way to decarbonise.
